Myvi crash during SSO bkt Jalil

quoted from the eye witness :

"I'm not implying anything but what happened was that the MyVi was doing its run in the two-up Champions Shoot-Out during the previous SSO @ Bukit Jalil. While negotiating a round-a-bout, the rear axle just snaped. We don't know what is the cause but some say that a mounting bold failed, and some speculated that the torsion beam welding wasn't strong enough to take the stress of such manouveres with semi-slick tyres. Until today we don't know."

that's what happen when modification is done without proper technical knowledge...or using substandard parts...

according to those fella on the spot, this My-Vi was actually modified at the suspension and the torsion beam. They used spot welding which is not good and strong enough.
